Japanese Conversation – Intermediate 1 (Online)


Prerequisite : Japanese Conversation Level 6 or equivalent

Overall Goals:

  1. This course will focus on building students’ proficiency in intermediate Japanese in listening and speaking, as well as providing basic reading and writing skills, while also providing them with a deeper understanding of Japan and its culture. The course will focus on oral comprehension and expression.

Intended Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Explain in a way that is easy to understand, for example, the characteristics of a dish from one’s country, and the way it is made in Japanese, and deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in Japan.

  • High-speed stable internet connection
  • Access to a computer with a minimum of Windows 10 or Mac G5
