Korean Conversation – Level 5 (Online)

Prerequisite: Korean Conversation—Level 4

Overall Goals:

  1. In this course students will improve their speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills with dynamic learning methods.
  2. This course covers diverse topics while giving students opportunities to exchange ideas and to speak to other students. Students can understand useful expressions and phrases from different sources in Korean such as lyrics, dialogues, short texts, and scripts from K-pop and K dramas.

Intended Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • By the end of this course students will be able to discuss daily events, occasions, and express opinions in Korean on different subjects of interest. Students will be able to understand grammatical points in depth when working with conditional mood, causative verbs, making adverbs, making nouns, making adjectives and relative pronouns.
  • By the end of the course, students should be able to communicate in various conversations with confidence.
