Prerequisite:Studied the textbook Great Wall Chinese vol. 2 (150 hours of previous instruction or equivalent)
Methodology:
- Review first 5 units of the textbook
- Continue the studies of basic grammar
- Past action or event
- Prepositions
- Adverbial phrases
- Learn characters as indicated in the workbook
- Vocabulary applied to the following:
- Currency and exchange; banking
- Shopping
- Seeing a doctor and describing illness
- Past events
- Asking about one’s experience
Required Material:
- Headphones and an external microphone
- High-speed stable internet connection
- Access to a computer with a minimum of Windows 7 or Mac G5
