This power point illustrates some examples of how I have modified my Resistance Training course in order to incorporate the Universal Design of Learning principles.

• I took into consideration the needs and abilities of my students and aimed to reduce the barriers to learning.
• I used different strategies to motivate the students so that they were more engaged in the learning process.
• I varied the ways that I presented the information and
• I provided options to demonstrate their learning.

Being a part of the UDL committee was a valuable and rewarding experience. It really helped me to be aware of how I can help all students to learn despite their differences.
