The number of college students with learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia) is increasing. Those enrolled in the nursing program may face some challenges. Indeed, the program includes many practical training periods, and teachers responsible for supervising these future professionals do not always feel fully equipped to better support them. This presentation provides a summary of the results of a qualitative research project funded by the Ministry of Education. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with nursing interns living with a learning disability, their teachers and adapted service professionals in order to learn more about those students’ challenges, to identify the needs of teachers and the strategies to meet those needs.
