UpCycle the Runway

Fashion through a different lens

Upcycling clothes poster. Clothes with recycling symbol.UpCycle the Runway is a unique fashion show event that aims to address the environmental and social challenges posed by fast fashion. Through the up-cycling of second-hand clothing, our Cin | Com Integrating Activity class project demonstrates how fashion can be both innovative and environmentally conscious. By breathing new life into discarded clothing, the collection seeks to challenge the throwaway culture prevalent in the fashion industry and emphasizes the need for a more sustainable approach. This fashion event not only promotes the value of reducing waste but also aims to inspire others to reconsider their consumption habits.

The show will take place in Conrod's (2F.4) on Apr. 24 from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.
