Online Applications for Winter 2027 is OPEN
Winter 2027 Application Deadline is November 1st
For new applicants: Once you have completed your on-line application form, all documents for Winter 2027 must be uploaded using your application center account by the November 1st deadline. DO NOT SEND DOCUMENTS BY EMAIL.

Current Dawson Students in a DEC program
Current Dawson student enrolled in a DEC for the Fall semester, whether in the Day and Evening Division, who wish to change programs or transfer to the Day Division, must submit a request using the on-line Program Transfer Request form available under Admissions and Program Transfer in My Dawson Portal (Omnivox) starting September 22nd. The deadline to submit requests is November 1st.
Technical Programs (Three-Year Programs)
Only returning Dawson students seeking admission to the 2nd, 4th, or 6th semester of a three-year Technical program are considered for Winter admission. This includes students who have been away from Dawson for one or more semesters and wish to return to their program. To qualify, applicants MUST have completed all courses from the 1st, 3rd, or 5th semester, as applicable.
Students who believe they meet these requirements must reapply for admission by submitting a request to admissions@dawsoncollege.qc.ca beginning September 22nd. The deadline to receive requests is November 1st.
Three-Year Technical Programs are not opened to new applicants for the Winter Semester. Only eligible returning Dawson students may be considered for admission.
Important Notice for International Applicants: Winter Admissions
In accordance with Immigration Quebec and Immigration Canada, all college-level CAQs and Study Permits must state the name of the institution the student will be attending.
Due to the extended processing times for study authorization in Quebec, and in accordance with the directives above, international students are not eligible to apply for admission to the Winter semester unless they already possess:
- a valid college-level CAQ (Certificat d’acceptation du Québec) or CSQ (Certificat de Sélection du Québec) and
- a valid Study Permit
both indicating Dawson College as the designated institution.
Applications submitted without these required documents will be refused.
