Do you take great class notes?
Get paid for it!PHOTO: AMANDA VICENTE-PEREIRA prophotodawsoncollege.com
Are your notes organized and well written? If so, you could potentially become a note-taker for a student in your class.
Interested? Let your teacher know. This does not guarantee you will become a note-taker but it does put you on your teacher’s radar. If a student in your class with a peer note-taking accommodation is still looking for a note-taker, the teacher can connect you. For more information, please visit https://www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca/student-accessability/becoming-a-note-taker/.
Already taking notes for a student? Make sure you have submitted the note-taking payment form so we can verify that the student is indeed registered with the Student AccessAbility Centre and is eligible for this accommodation. Avoid payment delays or possible non-payment: submit today! For more information and to access the form, please visit https://www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca/student-accessability/note-taker-payment-information/.

From Feb. 11 to 28, students are invited to participate in the Push [Yourself] Up Challenge.
“The Push-Up Challenge is a free fitness event focused on pushing for better mental health for all Canadians. Participants take on 2,000 push-ups, representing the ~2,000 lives lost to suicide each day, worldwide.” (https://www.thepushupchallenge.ca/)
Feel free to skip rope or do lunges, squats or jumping jacks -- whatever works for you! Last year, we greatly surpassed our modest community goal of 2,000 push-ups. This year, we are aiming for 50,000 push-ups!
Do 2,000 reps of any exercise (step-ups, burpees, etc.).
Student Services is giving away $500 in prizes.
You could win one of four $50 gift certificates (for individual participation) or one of three $100 gift certificates (for team participation) to a variety of stores/restaurants (Lululemon, Sport Experts, La Cage aux Sports, IGA, etc.) -- winner's choice.
Take a micro break from studying by participating.
Improve your health and feel good!
Visit the Push [Yourself] Up Challenge station in the Upper Atrium 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM most days between Feb. 11 and 28.
