French and Illustration departments launch new reading contest
The French Department (Catherine Soleil) and the Illustration Department (Marc-André Cright), supported by Campus Life and the Dawson Library, in partnership with the SPACE Certificate, are launching a new French reading and discussion contest.
Open to all students, Le Phylactère celebrates contemporary French-language comics, graphic novels, and zines.

March 24 · 11:45–12:45, April 14 · 11:45–12:45, May 5 · 11:45–12:45
Students will debate, discuss, and vote for the Dawson Golden Phylactère Award. Participation counts toward the SPACE Certificate and there will be prizes students can win.

- Ernestine — Salomé Laroche
- Moi, Fadi le frère volé (L’Arabe du futur) — Riad Sattouf
