What do you like best about working at Dawson?
For me, it’s the people and the sense of community. Dawson has always been a place where colleagues support one another and where helping students is at the heart of what we do.
What is exciting for you in your new role?
I’m really excited to officially step into a leadership role. I look forward to using my in-depth knowledge of software and systems to strengthen the IT Support team and help us provide even better service to the Dawson community.
What do you think are the greatest assets and challenges in your department?
Our greatest strength is the people—we have a talented and dedicated team that always goes the extra mile to keep the Dawson community running smoothly. The challenges come in two main areas: keeping up with the growing demand for technology services, and staying ahead in cybersecurity.
What would you like the Dawson community to know about you?
I try to approach every situation with patience, empathy, and a user-focused mindset. I enjoy meeting people where they are and helping them find solutions that work.
Anything else you would like to share?
I feel grateful to have built my career here at Dawson, and I’m excited to bring loyalty, professionalism, and an open-door spirit to this new role. I’m looking forward to continuing to contribute to the Dawson community in new and meaningful ways.
