The Dawson Blues Div. 1 Women’s Basketball team takes on the NAIT Ooks in the Bronze semi-final of the CCAA National Women’s Basketball Championship tonight (Friday, March 20) at 7 PM in the Tony Proudfoot Gym. If they win, they will also play on Saturday at 5 PM in the Bronze final.
Come be part of the incredible energy in the gym. There’s nothing like cheering on your Blues with fans from across Canada, live commentary, big-screen TVs, and a canteen on-site.
Dawson students get in free all week with their Dawson ID on Omnivox. Don’t miss your chance to show your school spirit and support the Blues!

The deadline to drop a course with a mention on your transcript is April 7. For returning students: Go to Omnivox → Registration and Course Change → Course or College Withdrawal/Drop Form.
For new students or a student in their first semester in a new program: Go to Omnivox → Registration and Course Change → Course or College Withdrawal/Drop Form and click on the link to chat with an advisor. You can also speak with an academic advisor at a scheduled Drop-in.

Watch new Oscar winning film set in Montreal for free
Over the weekend, The Girl Who Cried Pearls won the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film.
This 17-minute stop-motion animation is set in Montreal where a young boy falls in love with a girl who cries pearls. Produced by the National Film Board of Canada, this beautiful film highlights the artistry of Canadian animation and storytelling.
