Dawson sends 14 students to Women Techmakers Montreal
The Dawson Ada Society sponsored tickets for 14 students and 2 teachers to attend the Women Techmakers Montreal Conference on April 5. The conference featured talks and workshops on current topics in the field of Computer Science, highlighting the perspectives and experiences of women professionals. Students also had the opportunity to network with peers and industry colleagues, gaining valuable connections and insights.
Empowered by their takeaways and new connections, these students are returning with fresh motivation to push boundaries and grow as future tech leaders.
Dawson Students Win Big at University of Toronto Event!
Dawson students brought home a whopping eight awards after participating in the North American Model United Nations (NAMUN) Conference held at the University of Toronto in February. This longstanding conference attracts mostly university-level delegates from across North America, which made it especially challenging for the Dawson team. They distinguished themselves in this challenging context, and brought home the following awards:
