TODAY- Join the Ping Pong Tournament from 1 PM to 6 PM
Come participate in the Ping Pong Tournament hosted by the Bing Bong Club TODAY, Nov. 28 from 1 PM to 6 PM in 3C.1. Beginners welcome, total prizes add up to $225. Pizza, snacks and drinks will also be served to all participants.

Stand Together Against Gender-Based Violence Dec. 2
Join us for a Vigil in support of those impacted by gender-based violence. Hear from speakers, share experiences, and take part in a moment of silence.
Meet in front of the de Maisonneuve entrance on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 12:15 PM.

Bravo to Product Design students for winning the ODO Coup de Coeur!
Third-year Product Design students, Veronica Aviles, Yalda Azizi, Tasbiha Rahman, and Marie Yale team won the "Prix coup de coeur du public" at the "L'Odyssée de l'objet" design contest for their innovative project, a Racoon_Shelter designed to provide warmth, safety, and protection during the winter season.
"This is an outstanding achievement, and we couldn't be prouder of their creativity, dedication, and teamwork. Bravo to the team—you've made us all proud!" said Carlos Carpintero, Co-Chair of Product Design.

SPACE 8th Annual Writing Contest
Students from every discipline across the College are invited to submit writing that encourages reflection on this year’s SPACE theme: TRAJECTORIES. Students can submit in one or more of three categories: prose (fiction or creative non-fiction), poetry, and essay.
The deadline for submissions is March 2, 2026

Online Social Night for IPE students Dec. 4
For students in the seven IPE programs, you are invited to a social night on ONLINE Thursday, Dec. 4.

Wondering what programs are in the program within a program of Interprofessional Education? They are Biomedical Laboratory Technology, Diagnostic Imaging, Medical Ultrasound, Nursing, Physiotherapy Technology, Radiation Oncology, and Social Service Technology.

- Checkmate! Dawson student Reza Abtahian made history by winning first place at the intercollegiate chess tournament at Cégep André-Laurendeau — the first-ever win for Dawson! Other members of Dawson's Chess Club also did well: Samuel Vaccaro tied for second place, Pagna Sam was 6th, Mikhail Panin was 11th, Alexey Solovyev was 14th and Bassma Racine was 21st. - Academic Dean Leanne Bennett will be the Interim Director General of Dawson College on Jan. 1. She succeeds Diane Gauvin who is retiring. Check out the news on the Dawson website.

A variety of fun and educational non-credit courses to develop your hobbies and learn skills, ranging from painting to language courses, are available through Dawson's Centre for Training and Development. Dawson students get a 20% discount. See the courses offered in the winter.

- Pre-registration is open for paired Humanities and English courses for Winter 2026. Pre-university day students in ALC, Science, or Social Science can earn both credits in a combined, discussion-based format.
