Quebec first: Dawson students bound for Hamburg after winning global science competition
Nine Dawson College students are heading to Hamburg next Wednesday after winning a major international science competition. The “Dawson Technicolor” team will spend two weeks at DESY, Germany’s renowned particle physics laboratory, to test their own detector using a particle accelerator.

Dawson’s Library has an extensive collection of required textbooks in the Reserves collection at the Circulation Desk. These books can be borrowed for reduced loan periods.

PARC Changing areas open during renovations
The bathrooms in Dawson’s PARC (Physical Education, Athletics and Recreation Center) on the metro level will be undergoing renovations, which are expected to begin the week of Sept. 8 and continue until early November.
The changing areas will still be accessible and free to use during this time but the bathrooms, sinks and showers will not. All scheduled activities (courses, recreational programs, etc.) will proceed as planned.
