The Dawson College library is here to serve the academic needs of students and teachers, and we need your help to make strong choices about the library’s collections.

To that end, we urge you to use our online forms to request new library materials or schedule an in-class library instruction session. Please feel free to contact us any time for more information about our services, or to discuss matters relating to our collections.

Please complete the form below to request a library instruction session for your class. Sessions are scheduled on a first come, first served basis, so be sure to book early!

The Library continually strives to build and maintain a collection that supports the range of courses and programs taught within the College and that furthers the strategic initiatives of the institution. Our Selection Criteria are explained below. Please note that only the fields with an asterisk (*) are required. If we need more information, we’ll get in touch with you.

Course Reserves Form

If you would like to “reserve” specific titles from our collection, for the priority use by your students in your class(es), please complete this form.

Film Reservation Form

Use this form if you want to reserve a DVD to screen in class on a particular day. If your classroom has no DVD player and the teacher’s station has no disc drive, you can borrow a portable DVD drive from the Circulation Desk.
