Second place at Science on tourne 2026

Prix du mérite for Dawson team at Science on tourne

Share

Dawson Science students Evan Parasol, Mateo Duque and Brent Suter earned an impressive second place finish at the Science on tourne competition May 1-2—just shy of gold by a margin of millimetres. Their standout machine also won both the Prix du mérite (for design, quality, consistency and environmental responsibility) and the Prix du Public.

This marks four consecutive years in the top five for Dawson, and a second straight year bringing home prize money.

Congratulations to the team and everyone who helped power this success! As one of the sponsors of the Prix du mérite, the Fédération de cégeps issued a news release on the occasion.
