Dawson College Model United Nations drew 200 participants
After nine months of work, DCMUN (Dawson College Model United Nations) welcomed over 200 attendees Jan. 16-18 to a bilingual conference, with a quarter of participating schools representing francophone delegations.
As a student-led initiative, made possible through the guidance of faculty advisors Julian Nemeth and Nancy Rebelo, it demonstrated the strength of student leadership and collaboration.
The conference also proudly partnered with Ensemble Contre le Cancer and the Jewish General Hospital’s Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research, raising over $1,500 in support of breast cancer research and care. With the support of sponsors including Starbucks, Spedzira Caffè, and Torino, the second iteration of DCMUN marked an important milestone and contributed to its future success.
