Dawson remains a worldwide leader in sustainability
Dawson College was once again featured as a world leader in sustainability in the Sustainable Campus Index. Published in September by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), “the report celebrates top-performing institutions across 13 impact areas of sustainability, as measured by the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS®), and features innovative stories of leadership from campuses around the world,” read the AASHE press release dated Sept. 8, 2026.
Dawson remains the only higher education institution in the world in the category of Associate & Short-Cycle Institutions to have achieved the highest rating of platinum with a total score of 86.18 out of 100. Dawson’s platinum rating was confirmed in the spring of 2025 and is valid until March 30, 2028.
