Q & A with Max Jones, Dawson’s new Director of Student Services

1. What do you like best about working at Dawson?
   Max: The people! Both students and my colleagues make this a dynamic, sometimes challenging, but overall great place to work.
2. Why are you excited about your new role?
   Max: Besides joining such a big team in Student Services, the opportunity to effect positive change at the director level.
3. What do you think are the greatest assets and challenges in your department?
   Max: One of the challenges we face is that of space limitations, but one of the greatest assets in Student Services is the employees who know how to make the most of the space that we do have. There are so many ways for students to get involved in Campus Life or other extracurricular activities, and that’s a testament to the department’s creativity and dedication.

   Max: I would like to congratulate Monique on an impressive career across the CEGEP network, thank the SMSE sector for an amazing five years, and express my excitement for the challenges and opportunities ahead!
