Research funding opportunities for faculty and students
Two Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) funding programs are currently open and may be of interest to members of the Dawson community.
The Projets de recherche en équipe en milieu collégial (PEC) program provides funding to researchers in the college network and CCTTs, supporting collaborative research projects.
The Bourses d’initiation à la recherche au collégial (BIRC) program offers college students the opportunity to gain their first research experience while receiving a scholarship. Funding is still available, but the program will close once the maximum number of funded participants has been reached.
Researchers are encouraged to explore these opportunities and share information about the BIRC program with students who may be interested in a research experience.
