Thomas Henderson steps down as head of CRISPESH

Thomas Henderson, who has been the Director of CRISPESH since February 2012, will step down from his duties on November 7 to take a position as Director General of Giant Steps School which specializes in education for students on the autism spectrum.

Dawson College and the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal were awarded the CCTT (College Technology Transfer Centre in Innovative Social Practices) by the then-Ministry of Education, Recreation and Sports in October 2010. CRISPESH (or the Research Centre for the Educational and Professional Inclusion of Students with Disabilities), whose mission is the advancement of knowledge and the development and promotion of social practices that target the educational, social and professional inclusion of people living with disabilities, has grown and flourished under Thomas’s leadership.

We would like to thank him for his vision and dedication, and wish him all the best in his new endeavours.

Educational Consultant/Researcher Catherine Loiselle has been named interim director, effective October 27, 2014 to June 30, 2015. Catherine can be reached at cloiselle@cvm.qc.ca.
