Exit Exams – Save the Date!

English Exit Exam and Épreuve uniforme de français (EUF) will take place on Wednesday, May 13 at 8:30 AM at the College.

Online registration will be open from March 9 to April 7.

Students planning to graduate should make sure to register within this period.

Graduation Ceremony – Save the Date!

This year's graduation ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 23 at Place des Arts in Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier.

Are you interested in a career in planetary science? Is the interdisciplinary study of planets, moons, and other heavenly bodies within and beyond the solar system of interest to you?

If so, then you are cordially invited to attend an open-ended discussion with a diverse group of early-to-mid-to-late-career scientists from impactful locations across North America (joining us on Teams). They will discuss their own unique career paths, elaborate on the opportunities that await Dawson College students in the planetary domain and open up the floor to extensive Q&As.

Caribbean Style Carnival March 12

Let's kick off March Break with some Caribbean flair!

Come celebrate and learn about the history and importance of Carnival in Caribbean culture.

There will be live music, DJ, colourful costumes, free snacks to enjoy and a chance to speak with members of the Caribbean Coalition.

Professional Theatre presents Friends

The second-year students of the Professional Theatre program are proud to present Friends by Japanese writer Kobo Abe. A man’s apartment is invaded by a family of strangers who won’t leave. Friends is directed by Michael Hughes and runs from Wednesday, March 11 through Saturday, March 14.

Peace Panel: “Paix et l’autre” March 13

All Dawson students are invited to a Peace Panel on Friday, March 13, from 1 PM to 2:15 PM in the Dawson Theatre (2000 Atwater Ave).

The discussion, part of the Peace Studies Certificate and Paix 365 course, will explore how we can live peace every day, the diverse paths to peace, and insights from peace leaders across cultures and history.

These panels are always engaging, social, and inspiring. Don’t miss out!

Students in the Peace Studies Certificate can earn one meeting credit and one activity credit for attending.

TUESDAY, March 10:

  • 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM: Atelier de poésie à ne pas manquer ! Rejoignez-nous à Oliver's (2C.17) pour explorer le monde des poèmes. Illustre ton vers préféré et laisse libre cours à ta créativité ! Vos œuvres seront ensuite exposées à la bibliothèque lors de Poésie à porter, le 23 avril. Inscrivez-vous dès maintenant ici.
  • 3 PM - 5 PM: Faculty member Reisa Levine is hosting filmmaker Justine Martin, who will be talking about the situation for Quebec women in film and how they can bring parity into the local media industry. She'll also show her new short film, Les faux sapins. Location: 5B.16
  • 9 AM - 3 PM: Rowing Team Bake in the Upper Atrium (caf). Have a treat and help the Rowing Team get to Ontario!

WEDNESDAY, March 11:

  • 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM in the Lower Atrium (metro level): Physiotherapy Technology Health Fair presented by the third-year Physiotherapy Technology students. There are 26 interactive stations. You can learn about concussion prevention, sleep, posture for gamers, yoga, and CrossFit.
  • 10 AM – 12:30 PM: screening of "Coexistence, my ass!" directed by Amber Fares in Oliver's (2C.17).

THURSDAY, March 12:

12 PM – 1:30 PM in 6B.4: The First-Year Students' Office is hosting a how-to workshop covering topics such as the cost of living, filing taxes, and budgeting/savings. Limited spots; secure your spot by filling out this form.
