DawsHacks: From nothing to a full event in three months
In just three months, Illia Yevseienkov, Mohamed Nour Sabir and Yaroslav Klymiuk built DawsHacks from the ground up with the incredible support from Campus Life, Dawson College Foundation and the Computer Science Departement, founding a new para-academic group in the process. They organized their first Hackathon on May 2, where 80+ participants across five different CEGEPs spent six hours building projects alongside 15 mentors and 20 volunteers and 94% of feedback contributors say that they'd love to come back for next year's hackathon.
A special thanks to Dirk Dubois for supporting the organizers every step of the way, Jules Macovetchi for overseeing judging and mentorship, and the many volunteers whose efforts helped make the event a success.

The 2026 graduation is for graduates of Summer 2025, Fall 2025 and Winter 2026.
