Pet Therapy at the Forum. Jimmy Zoo returns one last time with his furry and feathery friends. Spend a few minutes with dogs, cats, bunnies, and birds to help reduce stress and anxiety. The Forum, room 2P.41, from 12 PM – 2 PM.
Indigenous Perspectives: They Lied to You in School Watch a short video by Ray Fadden exploring the contributions Indigenous peoples have made to the world, followed by an open discussion. 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM in the CoLab (3F.43). Register here.

Dawson K-Pop team fundraising day: Come support IntenCity’s May 14 fundraiser in the Lower Atrium. Bake Sale from 9 AM – 4 PM and K-Pop Random Dance Play from 1 PM to 4 PM.
Interactive Media Arts Vernissage Explore student projects from Interactive Media Arts on display in the 3B hallway and Rooms 3B.2–3B.4. from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
Vox Pop: Journalism – Writing Feature Stories. Check out Vox Pop, a Journalism event focused on writing feature stories. 11:30 AM – 1 PM in the Atrium (by the escalator)

Come to ScienceFest 2026 starting Monday
ScienceFest is Dawson’s annual science fair celebrating knowledge, creativity, and a passion for learning science. It will showcase work, projects, and activities from across the Science, Medical Studies and Engineering (SMSE) programs and in collaboration with other Dawson College initiatives. It is a lively festival of science featuring posters, installations, live demonstrations, challenges, and more!
This year's festival will take place Monday through Friday, May 11-15 in Conrod's (2F.4).

Make sure your volunteer hours count- upcoming ROSI deadline is May 28
Have you volunteered on or off campus for 60 hours or more this semester? You could be eligible for the Recognition of Student Involvement (ROSI) program.
ROSI officially highlights your extracurricular involvement on your transcript and recognizes the impact you make on campus and in the community.
Submit your completed ROSI sheet(s) to Campus Life in 2E.4 or via email at campuslife@dawsoncollege.qc.ca and get recognized for the difference you make. Deadline is Thursday, May 28.

Calling LSJ students who need QA in Fall 2026
Consider the course Counting the Cost: Social Justice in Canada?, a paired Quantitative Analysis (QA) and Canadian History course that takes you beyond the classroom on walking tours and museum visits.
Explore key social justice issues such as environmental racism in Canada, refugee policy, Indigenous perspectives in Canadian history, and Quebec’s secularism debate.
To pre-register, MIO Vanessa Lyness with your student number by Friday, May 22.
