If you would like to attend the New School, you must be accepted in any diploma program at Dawson College. All students need to pre-register for New School through the Omnivox portal.

Once you have registered, course selection happens the day before classes begin at New School “shopping”, and you must attend. Students will be offered 2-3 options of courses to choose from that will take place in the late afternoon and early evening. You will sign up for a specific learning group and, at that time, we will also learn about you and your interests.

Follow these steps to register through the MyDawson portal. If you are a new student, the following video will show you how to activate your portal account.

1. Once you are logged into the portal, click on My Intranet

2. Now click on New School Pre-Registration.

3. Click on next to begin the registration process.
