Dawson grad’s lost space research footage goes viral
A research team of Stanford graduate students, including Dawson Pure and Applied Science alumnus Tyler Reid, has been featured in the Washington Post, the New York Times and on CNN recently in a story about a research project that almost ended badly. After successfully sending GPS equipment into space along with a GoPro camera to document the journey of the team’s weather balloon research vessel, the project came crashing to a halt… temporarily.
