Dawson student represents Canada in Commonwealth tournament
Dawson Rugby player Shawna Brayton was invited to the tryouts for the Canadian team in June and has since been selected as a team member. Shawna will represent Canada as part of the Canadian Women’s Rugby team from August 31 to September 14 as part of the Commonwealth tournament. She will be supported financially by the Canadian Government while representing Canada as an elite athlete.
On behalf of the Athletics Department at Dawson College and her coaches we congratulate Shawna on this great accomplishment and wish her luck in her upcoming tournament.
