Welcome Weeks for new students begin Aug. 9

New students will have a chance to come to the campus and get a tour led by a second or third-year student during Welcome Weeks, which will take place Aug. 9-16.

“We are really looking forward to having the students back on campus,” said Dan Boyer, Coordinator of Student Services and the lead organizer of Welcome Weeks.

There will be three components to the experience: in-person tours, live zoom sessions with program coordinators and videos recorded by Academic Administration and Student Services to provide essential information for new students.

The tours will be available by appointment from Aug. 9-16 and the online live program sessions (including videos) will take place Aug. 10-12.

“The tours will give students a chance to get to know the campus and buildings, have their ID cards made, get excited about the College and feel comfortable about starting,” Dan said. “The year ahead seems promising and we hope that all students will be able to enjoy the fullness of life on campus.”

Plans are still being finalized and information will be sent to all employees involved by Friday, June 4. Students will receive their Welcome Weeks invitation by mid-July via Omnivox.
