Fall 2017 Welcome Address
Dawson’s Director General and Academic Dean addressed faculty and staff at the Fall 2017 Welcome Back Luncheon on August 22. As the College heads into its 49th year of serving its educational mission, Richard Filion addressed the changing nature of society and its challenges, and the role of education in meeting these new challenges. He also outlined the themes of the latest Strategic Plan’s E3 objectives of Educate, Engage and Enrich.
Academic Dean Diane Gauvin spoke of the numerous academic initiatives the Dawson Community is spearheading in order to meet the needs of our latest generation of students.
