Student for a Day – 2026

Graphic Design Department

The Graphic Design Program welcomes prospective students to spend time with us and experience what it’s really like to study design at Dawson.

During your visit, we will provide an overview of the program, including:

  • the structure and content of our courses
  • general expectations and learning outcomes
  • the application process
  • how to prepare your Letter of Intent and Portfolio

You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

After the presentation, you’ll be invited to join our students in their classes. This is a chance to see the work happening in our labs, observe the studio environment, and chat with current students one-on-one about their experience.

Time Slots

You may choose one of the following in-person sessions:

  • Tuesday, February 3, 2026 — 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, February 3, 2026 — 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
