Submit your online application using the Dawson College Application System by March 1.

Admissions FAQ
All applicants to a CEGEP for any given DEC program must have the Quebec Secondary School Diploma or the equivalent.
In addition to the above basic admission requirement, some programs have other requirements and/or pre-requisites.
This information is available through your high school guidance counsellor.
Specific pre-requisites of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics or Physical Science can be taken at a CEGEP, Continuing Education, in high school, or at adult education centres. Please note that students cannot use the courses taken at a CEGEP to complete their Diploma of Secondary Studies.
If you are currently in high school, please contact your guidance counselor as soon as possible in order to complete the pre-requisites for the program of your choice.

Some programs accept applications only for the Fall semester.

33. Submit your application
Create an online account, complete your application, upload the required documents and pay the fee.*
Deadlines: November 1 for the Winter semester March 1 for the Fall semester

44. Receive a decision
Check your application status regularly in the Application Centre.
It could take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to process your application.

55. Confirm your acceptance
If you receive an offer of admission, confirm before the deadline.
Review your admissions package thoroughly for the next steps.
