May 18th, 2022

It was so nice to have a big Dawson community event for the first time in more than two years! More than 800 students and employees were treated to ice cream and almost the same number enjoyed a BBQ meal outside on campus May 10. Food was served by our cafeteria staff and from food trucks and there was live music.

Thanks to Campus Life and Leadership, Student Services, the Dawson Student Union, Facilities Management, Information Systems and Technology and Director General Diane Gauvin!

Access to Dawson's parking lot is only possible via de Maisonneuve Blvd., which is a one-way westbound street. De Maisonneuve Blvd. is currently only open to local traffic (signage says accès local) between Atwater and Wood. That means that if you are headed to Alexis Nihon or Dawson, you are allowed to drive on de Maisonneuve. However, there isn't a priority turn signal from Atwater or green light on de Maisonneuve.

Drivers must enter parking lot from west bound de Maisonneuve

January 19th, 2022

De Maisonneuve Blvd. is open and the access to Dawson’s parking lot is now only from west-bound de Maisonneuve Blvd. Drivers have become accustomed to entering the parking lot via Wood Avenue in Westmount. That is no longer possible since the boulevard is a one-way street going west. To access the parking lot, drivers must turn west on to de Maisonneuve from Atwater Avenue or other cross streets east of Atwater. The de Maisonneuve doors are also now open for pedestrians. Please note that the de Maisonneuve entrance to Alexis-Nihon Mall is currently closed.
