Maciek Domanski began teaching at Dawson in 2003. His degrees include a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology (Concordia University), M.Sc. in Anthropology (Universite de Montreal), Ph.D. in Anthropology (Universite de Montreal) and a Doctorate in Sociology (University of Warsaw). He has done fieldwork in Italy, Canada and Poland. His research interests include, among other things the refugee and immigrant experience, ethnicity and discourse analysis. Maciek teaches Introduction to Anthropology, Development of Civilization, Quantitative Methods and Research Methods. He is associated with the Child Studies profile. He enjoys rock climbing, mountaineering, canoeing, and off-trail skiing.
