About the Dean’s Choice Award

The Deans’ Choice Awards began in 2013 on a rotational basis within the Visual Arts Career Sector. It is used in recognition of student achievement within a particular career program each year with the recipient chosen by three Deans: the Dean of Creative Arts, the Academic Dean and upon invitation another Dean from another sector or portfolio within the College. The Awards, which are given out at the student vernissage of the selected graduating class are for a first prize and two honoraria. The first prize winner has their work permanently hung on display in the DCA gallery outside of the Boardroom. This year, the awards will be given to three 3D Animation students.
