Anti-virus and Malware protection

All PCs have an anti-virus software called Microsoft Defender Antivirus to protect against the execution or installation of malware.

To ensure it is running properly, locate the Defender icon in the System Tray: it should have a green checkmark.

If it doesn’t, click on it to open a security summary, and contact IT Support.
