Every 80 seconds, someone in Quebec needs blood.

Your blood may be needed by someone who has had an accident, is having  surgery or is being treated for an illness: 1,000 donations of blood are needed every day. Donate blood today and tomorrow at Dawson College in 3C.1: 

Tuesday, Feb. 25: 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 26: 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.


Wear your Pink Shirt Feb. 26

Get out your Pink Shirt! Tomorrow is Pink Shirt Day. CLL invites everyone to join people across Canada who are standing up to bullying on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Come to the Upper Atrium and write a message of kindness on a tiny pink t-shirt card. In exchange, you will receive an "Always Be Kind" pin and a coupon for pink cotton candy to sweeten your day.

Dawson students build wind turbines in 3 hours

Five teams of Dawson Science students participated in the annual Déplace de l'air competition at Polytechnique Montréal Feb. 8.  They had three hours to build an operational wind turbine from scratch using only the materials provided. The best among them produced 1150mV during testing. Dawson's best entry placed 14th of about 60 teams.
