Statement from Dawson College

February 9th, 2021

The new pavilion project of Dawson College is not an expansion of the downtown Montreal CEGEP. We reject the use of the word expansion, which is inflammatory in this context. Almost seven years ago, in the spring of 2014, Quebec’s Ministry of Education recognized that Dawson College has a significant space deficit.
