The College Nurses, Julie Drolet and Julie Gosselin, recommend a great video about how masks work.

"Wearing masks significantly diminishes the spreading of the virus," said Julie and Julie. "We think this video depicts how effective masks are and we think all students and employees should view it."

Why not add a little Dawson touch to your next Zoom class or meeting by using a photo of our Peace Garden or beautiful heritage trees on campus? This is an idea shared by staff in the Office of Academic Development and the Sustainability Office.

You can change your background and add a photo by clicking the arrow next to the 'Stop/start video' and selecting 'choose virtual background'. There, you can choose a Zoom background or add your own photo by clicking the plus sign on the top right corner.

New Dawson Blues Band video release today!

The Dawson Blues Band (the DBB) has grown to 18 members now! They have put together a new video to cheer us and raise support for the students of Dawson College who could use some help.

The name of the DBB song is: “With a lot of help from our friends” inspired by “With a Little Help From My Friends” by the Beatles (released in 1967) and by Joe Cocker (released in 1969) and “You've Got a Friend" by Carole King (released in 1971).

"I want to congratulate all the participants for the great work you accomplished for this project," said organizer and musician Vincent Maggiore (Business Administration).
