Our Commitment to Hiring Equity

On Friday, March 12, 2021, the Humanities department unanimously passed a motion to improve hiring equity, which stipulates that the Humanities selection committee will ensure that at least 50% of shortlisted candidates are members of underrepresented groups especially Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour.

In addition, we created a self-identification form, which we encourage, but do not require, applicants to fill and submit with a complete application to HR and the Humanities department.
