Beginning with a discussion of how immigrants are initiated into setter colonial logics and our learned relationships with the land, panellists explore the challenges and opportunities for immigrant settlers to create respectful relationships with Indigenous peoples and their lands. In accordance with the TRC calls to action, the panel concludes with proposed steps to reject Eurocentric belief systems and white supremacist structures.
