Students who have never registered with the SAAC and wish to review their eligibility are asked to complete the Online Pre-Intake form and upload their medical document, or psycho-educational evaluation issued by an authorized Quebec licensed professional.  Once we receive the completed form, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment with an Adapted Services counsellor.

Deadline for Winter 2026:  April 24, 2026 (few exceptions may apply) 

Requests received after this date will be reviewed for the following semester.

If you were previously registered with the SAAC for accommodations, you must request and reactivate them every semester.

You can request your accommodations by using the “Self Registration” option in our online module. Once your Adapted Services Counsellor has approved your request, you will receive your IEP via email to your Dawson student email account that you must confirm to activate your accommodations.

It is important that you provide us with the necessary information before the semester deadlines. Unfortunately, failure to do so may result in not getting paid.

Deadline for Winter Semesters: April 15

Deadline for Fall Semesters: November 15

Minimum ONE WEEK – 7 DAYS BEFORE the date of the test (this includes weekends)

If your test/exam is on:

• Monday – then Monday is the last day to sign up
• Tuesday – then Tuesday is the last day to sign up
• Wednesday – then Wednesday is the last day to sign up
• Thursday – then Thursdayis the last day to sign up
• Friday – then Friday is the last day to sign up
• Saturday – then Saturday is the last day to sign up

If you have exams scheduled to take place during the Final Exam period, the DEADLINE to sign up for the Winter 2026 semester is MAY 4, 2026.
