- Course packs: Teachers may publish course packs which contain the course notes and laboratory manual.
Memberships and Certification
Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS)
Canadian Alliance of Medical Laboratory Professionals Regulators (CAMLPR)
l’Ordre professionnel des technologistes médicaux du Québec (OPTMQ)
- Student memberships for the CSMLS and OPTMQ is approximately $200 for both.
- Upon graduation, students are strongly encouraged to become members of the OPTMQ. Initial membership fee is approximately 410$.
- Upon graduation, students are strongly encouraged, though not required, to obtain national certification by completing the Canadian Association of Medical Laboratory Professionals Regulators National General Certification Exam. As of May 2026, the examination fee is $989.
