FAN ART CONTEST in Upper Atrium (All week – winners chosen on Friday at 5 PM) – by DSU

Enter your fan art on Monday and it will be displayed all week in the Upper Atrium by the escalator. All those who are not entering can vote for their favourite and 3 winners will be announced on Friday. Drop off your prints in 2F.2 DSU Office.

FIRE NOODLE CHALLENGE (Activity) in Conrod’s 2F.4 (12:30-1:30 PM) – by Campus Life

Can you handle the heat?? Chow down on a cup of Buldak 2X Spicy noodles! If you can survive without drinking the milk we will provide for you, you will have the chance to pick out a surprise prize! Sign up in advance in 2E.4 Campus Life office.

VOODOO DOLLS (Craft) in Oliver’s 2C.17 (3-5 PM) – by Campus Life

It’s NOT real, but it’s cute and fun. Come make one! We supply all the materials, you bring your creativity!

Go around the College and look for Sheldon Cooper. Take a selfie with all 10 Sheldons, show us in Campus Life 2E.4, and receive your little geek prize!

DESIGN A PENCIL CASE (Craft) in Oliver’s 2C.17 (12-2 PM) – by Campus Life

We’ll supply the cases and fabric markers and you bring your creativity!

ASIAN SNACK BINGO (Activity) in Oliver’s 2C.17 (11:30-12:30 PM) – by Campus Life

Who doesn’t love BINGO? NO ONE! Free to play and lots of yummy Asian snacks to be won!

BUTTON MAKING (Craft) in Oliver’s 2C.17 (1-3 PM) – by Campus Life

We’ll supply the buttons, markers and button makers and you bring your creative ideas!

COSPLAY COSTUME CONTEST (9-5 PM) – by DSU

Come take a photo in Conrod’s 2F.4 in front of the GEEK WEEK backdrop in your cosplay costume and get entered into the costume contest! Send your picture to my_dsu on Instagram by 5 PM. Students will get to vote and the winner will be announced on Oct. 20th.

*No weapons of any kind will be permitted on campus. No real weapons, no good fakes, and if you must have one for your costume, the fake must look VERY FAKE, like you cut it out of cardboard and painted it kinda fake.

MARIO KART TOURNAMENT (Activity) in Oliver’s 2C.17 (1-2:30 PM) – by Campus Life

Bring your own controllers! Thirty-six players in the preliminary rounds, 9 players in semi-finals, and 3 finalists to compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Winners receive gift cards to GameStop! Sign up in advance in 2E.4 Campus Life office.

MOVIE & CHILL in Conrod’s 2F.4 (2-7 PM) – by DSU

Come to Conrod’s 2F.4 for popcorn and watch 1 or both movies being featured: Spider-Man Across the Spider Verse and Avengers Endgame.

The DSU’s Japanese Media Club wants to test your anime culture. Come take part in this Anime Music Quiz and see just how cultured you really are!
