Professionals & support staff can sign up for Sustainable Happiness

Professionals and support staff, there is an opportunity to take the 24-hour Certificate in Sustainable Happiness (SH) Course this semester. The program will run Feb. 12 through April 9 on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Participants will be introduced to the concept of Sustainable Happiness and explore its implications, both personally and professionally. This is an experiential and applied certificate.

Key topics include: sustainability, connecting with Nature, positive psychology, well-being, happiness, and healthy/sustainable lifestyles. All participants must complete a project that benefits the well-being of themselves, others and/or the planet to obtain the certificate.

Some examples of successfully completed projects last semester were plant-based recipe books, yoga / meditation challenges, going on daily dates with Nature, 30 days of acts of kindness, plant giveaways, vertical gardens at home, family wellness and a zero waste challenge.

To express your interest or place your name on the waiting list, go to SH Wait List

For more information, go to https://www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca/sustainable/sustainable-happiness/
