Anna-Liisa Aunio & team are finalists for $5 M grant

Implementing Smart Cities: Interventions to Build Healthy Cities is the name of a training platform and research project that is in the running for a $5 million grant from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). Making the world more inclusive

Improving the lives of people living in a disabling situation has been the work of CRISPESH for almost 10 years. CRISPESH is Dawson's unique College Centre for the Transfer of Technologies (CCTT). The project is in partnership with Cégep du Vieux Montréal. Currently, there are about half a dozen teachers from CVM working on CRISPESH research. Go Dawson Blues! Dawson is hosting the Div. 1 provincial basketball championships this coming weekend. The Women’s Team will be playing for a spot to represent the RSEQ at the CCAA Nationals on Saturday, March 7 at 12 p.m. The Men’s Team will play in a ¼ final game on March 3. Dawson helping move SDGs forward in CICan national project

CICan is partnering with Dawson and eight other colleges to help Canada reach the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). ImpAct, with the support of the McConnell Foundation and the patronage of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, will help advance Canada’s commitment to sustainability.

Chris Adam, who represented Dawson, said: “It was clear that the sustainability-related work implemented by Dawson staff and students is recognized across Canada as innovative, current and entrepreneurial!”
