Math Success Centre at Dawson

“Sometimes the questions are complicated, and the answers are simple.” – Dr. Seuss

The Math Success Centre is a new initiative organized by the Science, Medical Studies, & Engineering sector in collaboration with Dawson’s Mathematics Department. The goal of this new centre is to support students in their transition from high school to CEGEP-level mathematics. The Math Success Centre is consistently evolving and finding new ways to take a targeted and individualized approach to support students enrolled in math courses and courses that use math concepts and topics.

Currently, the Math Success Centre is offering services such as math workshops and tutorials, math success advising and consultations, study skills workshops, online resources and discussion forums, drop-in hours, review of high school concepts and more!

It is our priority to ensure that all students have the confidence to pursue studies in disciplines that involve mathematical thinking and reasoning.
