Noella Dorothy Beersa
Ever since I was young, I have been drawn towards expressing my opinion and fighting for what I think is right. I want to prove to other foster kids that they too can pursue whatever career they want, regardless of if they have familial support or not.
I’ve valued academia for as long as I can remember. My dream right now is to study English because it’s one of my passions and I want to pursue it as much as possible before I attend law school. Receiving this award means an awful lot to me because throughout my life, I’ve always been afraid of not being able to pursue my academic dreams. I am more than grateful for this award.
