This award means so much in the sense that it is an extra help for achieving my goal in cinema. Film-making is very expensive, for the equipment and software, but also taking care of your crew, with food and transportation etc. In the future film I’m making, there will be one less thing to worry about and I am very thankful for that.
Glay Sperling Prize

Presented to a student who, during their first year of studies, has demonstrated overall academic achievement and great potential for success in Art History, Cinema, Drama, Fine Arts, or Music. This prize was established in the name of Glay Sperling, the founder of the Cinema-Communications department at Dawson College.
