In elementary school, I participated in a few math competitions, driven by a desire to make my parents proud. Receiving this Award not only brought back that childlike joy but also served as a reassuring pat on the shoulder, confirming I’m on the right track. I am very honoured to be a recipient of the Harry Fainsilber Memorial Award, and I pledge to uphold the values it represents.
